The San Tan Foothills Sabercats football team (Queen Creek, AZ), was knocked off 40-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ)

The Bulldogs (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Elks go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Round Valley was topped by Snowflake (Snowflake, AZ), 42-14, in a league outing.

With the loss, San Tan Foothills moves to 3-5 on the season. The Sabercats host Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ) to encounter the Falcons in a 3A South outing on Friday, October 22. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Fountain Hills lost 21-12 in their recent league outing against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ)
