December 3, 2011: Woodstock, GA 30189 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) and the visiting Blessed Trinity Titans (Roswell, GA), saw Etowah's basketball squad knock off Blessed Trinity by a score of 49-35.
With the victory, Etowah improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cherokee (Canton, GA) to battle the Warriors in a 5-AAAAA challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 5-1. Cherokee won 50-42 in their recent non-league test against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA)
The Titans now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Blessed Trinity will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 66-44 non-league win over Wheeler (Marietta, GA). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
