Michigan High School Basketball - Grand Ledge overwhelms Charlotte
January 24, 2017: Grand Ledge, MI 48837 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) and the visiting Charlotte Orioles (Charlotte, MI), saw Grand Ledge's basketball squad wallop Charlotte by a count of 84-55.
With the victory, Grand Ledge upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Everett (Lansing, MI) to play the Vikings in a Capital Area - Blue challenge on Friday, January 27. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Everett won 53-49 in their recent league challenge against Jackson (Jackson, MI)
Next up, the Orioles play the DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) in a Capital Area - Red challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Charlotte will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 63-41 league win over Mason (Mason, MI).
