Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC) and the host Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC), saw Ridge View's basketball squad overcome Irmo by a tally of 59-46.

With the victory, Ridge View improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Blazers host Spring Valley (Columbia, SC) to play the Vikings in a AAAA Region IV challenge on Friday, February 1. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Spring Valley won 46-36 in their recent league challenge against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region IV challenge, on Friday, February 1. Irmo will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 48-36 league loss to Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC).
