Kentucky High School Basketball - Bracken County knocked off by Elliott County
December 10, 2016: Sandy Hook, KY 41171 The Elliott County Lions basketball squad scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears to 64 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Elliott County upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Morgan County (West Liberty, KY) to play the Cougars in a District 62 bout on Saturday, December 10. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Morgan County lost 64-55 in their recent non-league bout against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY)
Next up, the Polar Bears play the George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Bracken County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
