Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), 44-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sun Valley upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Spartans host Providence (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Ravens encounter the Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 11. Rocky River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).
