California High School Volleyball - Burroughs edged by Newbury Park
April 3, 2018: Newbury Park, CA 91320 The Newbury Park Panthers held off the visiting Burroughs Indians volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a Marmonte test on Thursday, April 5. Newbury Park will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Agoura (Agoura, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-6.
The Indians (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Falcons enter the Pacific test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Crescenta Valley held off Glendale (Glendale, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
