New York High School Basketball - St. Francis Prep falls to Bishop Maginn
December 29, 2010: Albany, NY 12202 The Bishop Maginn Griffins basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting St. Francis Prep Terriers to 55 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Griffins now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schenectady for a Section 2 Big Ten contest on Tuesday, January 4. Bishop Maginn will confront a Patriots team coming off a 49-40 non-league win over Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 7-1.
The Terriers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY). The Kingsmen enter the Catholic Brooklyn/Queens I contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Nazareth ran past Forest Park (Forest Park, GA), 51-32, in a non-league contest.
