The Hoover Vikings basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Jackson Polar Bears to 33 in the Vikings league victory on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Massillon Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, January 25. Hoover will meet a Chargers team coming off a 40-0 non-league loss to Kingsway Christian (Orrville, OH). The Chargers record now stands at 2-1.

The Polar Bears (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Solon (Solon, OH). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Solon was defeated by Normandy (Parma, OH), 63-54, in a non-league contest.
