Oregon High School Baseball - Nestucca prevails Kennedy
April 30, 2018: Mt. Angel, OR 97362 Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Nestucca upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR) to battle the Pirates in a 2A -1 Northwest test on Monday, May 7. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 8-5.
With the defeat, Kennedy falls to 12-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Santiam (Mill City, OR) to battle the Wolverines in a 2A -2 Tri River test on Tuesday, May 1. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 7-5. Santiam won 7-2 in their recent league test against Country Christian (Molalla, OR)
