Alabama High School Football - Fruitdale succumbs to McIntosh
September 15, 2006: Fruitdale, AL 36539 McIntosh Demons (McIntosh, AL) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Fruitdale Pirates (Fruitdale, AL), 22-6 in a league challenge.
The Demons now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Millry for a 1A Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 22. McIntosh will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 37-7 league loss to Frisco City (Frisco City, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Fruitdale moves to 1-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Frisco City (Frisco City, AL) to clash with the Whippets in a 1A Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 22. The Whippets go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Frisco City won 37-7 in their recent league challenge against Millry (Millry, AL)
