Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Green Forest Tigers (Green Forest, AR), 38-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elkins upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Elks host Haas Hall Academy (Fayetteville, AR) to play the Mastiff in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 15. The Mastiff go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Haas Hall Academy lost 70-26 in their recent non-league bout against Greenland (Greenland, AR)

Next up, the Tigers play the Deer Antlers (Deer, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 16. Green Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Antlers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 41-30 non-league loss to Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR).
