New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Fe edges Piedra Vista
January 3, 2017: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), 55-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Demons (8-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, St. Pius X was tipped by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 58-51, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Bloomfield for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. Piedra Vista will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 68-53 non-league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-7.
