Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) and the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA), saw Birmingham's basketball squad hold off Cleveland by a score of 64-62.

With the victory, Birmingham improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA) to battle the Toreadors in a West Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 20. The Toreadors come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Taft won 85-42 in their recent league challenge against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA)

Next up, the Cavaliers battle the Durango Trailblazers (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 16. Cleveland will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record.
