Ohio High School Basketball - Buchtel overwhelms Lutheran East
January 7, 2012: Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH) and the host Lutheran East Falcons (Cleveland Heights, OH), saw Buchtel's basketball squad trounce Lutheran East by a count of 87-27.
With the victory, Buchtel upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to East (Akron, OH) to play the Dragons in a Akron City challenge on Monday, January 9. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. East lost 82-37 in their recent league challenge against Kenmore (Akron, OH)
Next up, the Falcons play the Garfield Heights Bulldogs (Garfield Heights, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Lutheran East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
