Minnesota High School Basketball - Barnesville crushes Battle Lake
December 22, 2016: Barnesville, MN 56514 Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Battle Lake Battlers (Battle Lake, MN), 60-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Barnesville upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Verndale (Verndale, MN) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Verndale lost 64-47 in their recent non-league bout against Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN)
Next up, the Battlers clash with the Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Battle Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 73-62 league loss to Staples-Motley (Staples, MN).
