The St. Thomas Academy Cadets basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Holy Family Catholic Fire to 53 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cadets now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a Classic Suburban contest on Friday, January 20. St. Thomas Academy will meet a Polars team coming off a 79-47 league loss to Sibley (Mendota Heights, MN). The Polars record now stands at 5-3.

The Fire (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Chanhassen ran past Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN), 66-42, in a league contest.
