The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) football routed the visiting Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), 45-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill bout, on Friday, October 21. Bishop O'Dowd will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Lancers enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 62-0 league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA).

The Trojans (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders enter the West Alameda County - Foothill bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Piedmont walloped Berkeley (Berkeley, CA), 35-20, in a league bout.
