Florida High School Basketball - Coral Reef falls to Dr. Krop
December 29, 2010: Miami, FL 33179 The Dr. Krop Lightning basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Coral Reef Barracudas to 34 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lightning now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coral Gables for a non-league contest on Monday, January 3. Dr. Krop will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 43-42 non-league win over Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-6.
The Barracudas (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Homestead (Homestead, FL). The Broncos enter the 6A District 16 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Homestead was defeated by Palmetto (Miami, FL), 40-33, in a league contest.
