The Ferndale Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting University Eagles to 59 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DEPSA Early College for a non-league match on Thursday, January 12. Ferndale will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 48-44 league win over Eastern Washtenaw Multicultural Academy (Ann Arbor, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, University moves to 6-2 on the year. The Eagles host DEPSA Early College (Detroit, MI) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 12.
