Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS), 79-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Noxubee County upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS) to play the Rockets in a 4A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Knights play the Quitman Panthers (Quitman, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 18. West Lauderdale will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 65-62 league loss to Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS).
