Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) and the visiting Mt. Union Trojans (Mt. Union, PA), saw West Branch's basketball squad knock off Mt. Union by a score of 51-42.

With the victory, West Branch improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Curwensville (Curwensville, PA) to battle the Golden Tide in a Moshannon Valley challenge on Thursday, January 29. The Golden Tide come into the challenge with a record of 0-14. Curwensville lost 58-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnsonburg (Johnsonburg, PA)

Next, the Trojans clash with the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) in a Inter County - North test, on Friday, January 30. Mt. Union will attempt to advance on its 2-14 season record. The Rockets go into the test with a 16-0 record after their 58-33 non-league win over Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA).
