Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Groton Tigers (Groton, SD), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tanagers confront the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers (Sioux Falls, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 1. Vermillion will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Tea (Tea, SD).
