The Highland Bulldogs basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Triad Knights to 50 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mascoutah for a Mississippi Valley contest on Monday, January 11. Highland will meet a Indians team coming off a 58-35 league loss to Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL). The Indians record now stands at 10-5.

The Knights (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Waterloo (Waterloo, IL). The Bulldogs enter the Mississippi Valley contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Waterloo was nudged by Mater Dei (Breese, IL), 51-24, in a non-league contest.
