The Forrest City Mustangs football squad scored 25 points and restricted the host Central Cougars to 21 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greene County Tech for a 5A East battle on Friday, September 25.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) in a 4A Region 2 battle, on Friday, September 25. Central will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Greyhounds enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 47-14 non-league loss to Sylvan Hills (Sherwood, AR).
