The Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) basketball nipped the host Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), 46-43 in Wednesday's league test.

The Titans (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Cowan (Muncie, IN). The Blackhawks go into the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Cowan was tipped by Wapahani (Selma, IN), 81-47, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Winchester Community for a Tri-Eastern test on Saturday, December 16. Union County will encounter a Golden Falcons squad coming off a 53-28 league win over Union City (Union City, IN). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 11-1.
