In Friday's league match, the host Johnson Atomsmashers basketball team scored a good 70-50 triumph over the Brantley County Herons.

In their next game, the Atomsmashers face the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) in a AAA Region 1B match, on Saturday, February 6. Johnson will attempt to move on its 18-5 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 20-4 record after their 89-30 non-league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA).
