The Westlake Chaparrals basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Vista Ridge Rangers to 30 in the Chaparrals non-league victory on Monday.

The Chaparrals now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Alamo Heights for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 4. Westlake will meet a Mules team coming off a 75-39 non-league win over Holy Cross (San Antonio, TX). The Mules record now stands at 7-1.

The Rangers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against HCYA North (Houston, TX). The come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
