Minnesota High School Basketball - Robbinsdale Armstrong fells Wayzata
February 20, 2009: Plymouth, MN 55441 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) and the visiting Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN), saw Robbinsdale Armstrong's basketball squad overcome Wayzata by a score of 56-48.
With the victory, Robbinsdale Armstrong improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN) to play the Stars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 21. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Academy of Holy Angels lost 69-30 in their recent league challenge against New Prague (New Prague, MN)
Next up, the Trojans play the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a Classic Lake challenge, on Tuesday, February 24. Wayzata will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Woodbury (Woodbury, MN).
