Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Salt River Eagles (Scottsdale, AZ), 58-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Sabino (Tucson, AZ) to play the Sabercats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. The Sabercats come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Sabino won 46-13 in their recent non-league bout against Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Eagles play the Horizon Honors Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 11. Salt River will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 22-18 non-league loss to Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ).
