New Mexico High School Basketball - Alamogordo falls to Cibola
January 16, 2016: Albuquerque, NM 87114 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Cibola Cougars basketball team scored a good 55-42 triumph over the Alamogordo Tigers.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a 6A District 1 match, on Tuesday, January 19. Cibola will attempt to move on its 12-2 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 7-7 record after their 62-55 non-league win over Hobbs (Hobbs, NM).
With the defeat, Alamogordo moves to 6-12 on the year. The Tigers host Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 19. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 6-11. Mayfield lost 68-59 in their recent non-league match against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
