California High School Volleyball - El Segundo over Downey
May 15, 2010: El Segundo, CA 90245 In Saturday's non-league bout, the El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Downey Vikings (Downey, CA), by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, El Segundo upgrades its record to 17-4 on the year. The Eagles host Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 18. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 21-10. Bishop Montgomery won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Garey (Pomona, CA)
The Vikings now own a 11-6 record.
