The Palo Alto Vikings nudged the visiting Willow Glen Rams baseball team by a tally of 6-5 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now hold a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saratoga for a De Anza bout on Wednesday, April 27.

Next, the Rams face the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) in a Mount Hamilton bout, on Friday, April 29. Willow Glen will attempt to advance on its 16-5 season record. The Acorns enter the bout with a 7-13 record after their 2-0 league win over Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA).
