Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (Long Beach, CA), 8-0 in a league test.

With the win, Lakewood upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Lancers host Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) to battle the Sea Kings in a non-league test on Saturday, April 16. The Sea Kings come into the test with a record of 12-6. Palos Verdes lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Palos Verdes Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA)
