Texas High School Basketball - Hebron nips Lewisville
January 25, 2011: Lewisville, TX 75067 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hebron Hawks (Carrollton, TX) and the host Lewisville Farmers (Lewisville, TX), saw Hebron's basketball squad hold off Lewisville by a score of 55-51.
With the victory, Hebron improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Hawks host Plano East (Plano, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, January 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. Plano East lost 64-50 in their recent league challenge against Allen (Allen, TX)
Next up, the Farmers battle the Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge, on Friday, January 28. Lewisville will attempt to improve on its 19-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 12-15 record after their 54-50 league win over Plano (Plano, TX).
