California High School Football - Nevada Union held off by Ponderosa
October 12, 2018: Shingle Springs, CA 95682 Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 38-35 in a league test.
With the triumph, Ponderosa improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Placer (Auburn, CA) to battle the Hillmen in a Foothill Valley test on Friday, October 19. The Hillmen come into the test with a record of 8-0. Placer won 45-20 in their recent league test against Oakmont (Roseville, CA)
With the loss, Nevada Union drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Miners host Lincoln (Lincoln, CA) to battle the Fighting Zebras in a Foothill Valley test on Friday, October 19. The Fighting Zebras come into the test with a record of 4-4. Lincoln lost 52-35 in their recent league test against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA)
