The Malvern Prep Friars basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Haverford School Fords to 57 in the Friars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Friars now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Germantown Academy for a Inter-Academic contest on Friday, January 22. Malvern Prep will battle a Patriots team coming off a 58-56 league loss to Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 13-6.

The Fords (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Quakers enter the Inter-Academic contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, William Penn Charter ran past Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA), 63-33, in a league contest.
