Louisiana High School Basketball - New Living Word knocked off by Northwood
January 6, 2017: Shreveport, LA 71107 The Northwood Falcons basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting New Living Word Lions to 61 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minden for a 4A District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Northwood will battle a Crimson Tide team coming off a 46-42 non-league win over Homer (Homer, LA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 9-9.
The Lions (7-19) will now prepare for their contest against University Academy (Alexandria, LA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-16 record.
