Louisiana High School Football - Vermilion Catholic topples Erath

September 14, 2018: Erath, LA 70533

The Vermilion Catholic Eagles (Abbeville, LA) football defeated the host Erath Bobcats (Erath, LA), 34-11 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a 1A District 7 bout, on Friday, September 21. Vermilion Catholic will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 40-6 non-league win over Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA).

The Bobcats (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Wolves enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Rayne lost by Eunice (Eunice, LA), 36-14, in a non-league bout.
