January 23, 2016: Belleville, IL 62221 The Belleville East Lancers topped the visiting McCluer Comets basketball team by a final score of 82-65 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Lancers face the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a Southwestern game, on Tuesday, January 26. Belleville East will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record. The Maroons enter the game with a 8-11 record after their 71-60 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, IL).
With the defeat, McCluer moves to 5-9 on the year. The Comets host Oakville (St. Louis, MO) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, January 29. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-10.
