Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA), 42-7 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Riverside improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA) to confront the Warriors in a WPIAL 2A Midwestern test on Friday, October 5. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-1. Mohawk Area won 56-0 in their recent non-league test against Shenango (New Castle, PA)

With the loss, Carlynton drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA) to confront the Blue Devils in a WPIAL 2A Three Rivers test on Friday, October 5. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 6-0. Burgettstown won 24-0 in their recent league test against Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA)
