January 29, 2018: Williamstown, WV 26187 The Southern Tornadoes basketball team (Racine, OH), was overwhelmed 80-41 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV)
The Yellowjackets now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilmer County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 31. Williamstown will confront a Titans team coming off a 49-30 league win over Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Titans record now stands at 7-10.
The Tornadoes (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Athens (The Plains, OH). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-16 record. In their last battle, Athens was overwhelmed by Marietta (Marietta, OH), 67-54, in a non-league battle.
