In Friday's non-league game, the Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA), by a final score of 24-13.

The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Indian come into the Anthracite game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Lehighton toppled North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA), 33-13, in a league game.
