Texas High School Basketball - Garland topped by Martin
November 9, 2012: Arlington, TX 76016 The Martin Warriors basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Garland Owls to 37 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Coronado for a non-league contest on Friday, November 16. Martin will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 47-39 non-league loss to Canyon (Canyon, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Garland moves to 0-2 on the year. The Owls travel to Red Oak (Red Oak, TX) to confront the Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, November 12. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 2-0. Red Oak won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX)
