In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Jackson Aggies football squad scored a good 35-20 victory over the Demopolis Tigers.

In their next game, the Aggies clash with the Vigor Wolves (Prichard, AL) in a 5A Region 1 match, on Friday, October 2. Jackson will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 19-3 league win over Rain (Mobile, AL).

The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Sumter Central (York, AL). The Jaguars enter the 5A Region 4 match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Sumter Central was toppled by Greensboro (Greensboro, AL), 36-13, in a non-league match.
