West Virginia High School Basketball - Summers County overwhelms St. Albans
December 22, 2010: Hinton, WV 25951 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) and the visiting St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV), saw Summers County's basketball squad trounce St. Albans by a score of 63-33.
With the victory, Summers County improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Scott (Madison, WV) to battle the Skyhawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 30. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Scott won 61-39 in their recent league challenge against Wayne (Wayne, WV)
Next up, the Red Dragons battle the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 28. St. Albans will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Bees come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 69-35 non-league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV).
