St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Delaware Academy of Public Safety & Security Eagles (New Castle, DE), 56-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Andrew's upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE) to play the Quakers in a Independent Schools bout on Saturday, January 30. The Quakers come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Wilmington Friends won 48-35 in their recent league bout against Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE)
