Oregon High School Baseball - Estacada loses to North Marion
April 24, 2013: Aurora, OR 97002 In Wednesday's league game, the host North Marion Huskies baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Estacada Rangers.
The Huskies (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Madras (Madras, OR). The White Buffaloes go into the 4A Tri-Valley game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Madras edged Molalla (Molalla, OR), 4-2, in a league match.
The Rangers (6-16) will now prepare for their match against La Salle (Milwaukie, OR). The Falcons go into the 4A Tri-Valley match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, La Salle edged Gladstone (Gladstone, OR), 8-0, in a league match.
Game Summary
Estacada scored the first run of Wednesday's matchup, but the Huskies scored four runs in the late stages of the game as they defeated the Rangers 4-1. Wyatt Moore pitched a great game on the mound, finishing with eleven strikeouts, allowing just three hits, and walking only one. Brock Breshears had a two-RBI day from the plate in crucial situations, while Emry Patterson picked up a clutch RBI base knock also.
