The Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY), 73-49 in Friday's league test.

The Cardinals (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Madison Central walloped Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY), 47-44, in a non-league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ryle for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Clay will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 45-31 non-league win over Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 12-2.
