In Saturday's league match, the visiting Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored a good 50-41 triumph over the Silver State Academy/ROP Rams.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a 3A/2A Lahontan match, on Tuesday, January 31. Pershing County will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Greenwave enter the match with a 4-14 record after their 68-66 league loss to Dayton (Dayton, NV).

With the defeat, Silver State Academy/ROP moves to 7-14 on the year. The Rams travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to face the Greenwave in a 3A/2A Lahontan match on Friday, February 3. The Greenwave enter the match with a record of 4-14.
